It was a really fun Wednesday, 10/16/2007 and we rented a van to pick all ten of us up from work.  Our journey lasted from 11am till 5pm and it was action packed.  Check out the pictures!

ok. so I almost died on the way up Gridley. So what… it was super hot, dry, a little ashy I guess so I bailed out very early and headed from Ojai to Ventura C Street. It was my first time doing that ride since moving here and well worth it. About 2.5 hours round trip with a little stop at the beach. Check out the FIRE shots!

Our neighbor Katie has a beautiful dog Sy and Sasha loves him. She’s known him since he was a puppy and Tegan sometimes hears him whining because he’s lonely so she goes and gets him and lets Sasha have a friend to play with.

We’re doing well in Ojai and in case you’re wondering the Zaca fire hasn’t gotten to us yet (we don’t expect it to). Yesterday I was at the Commission Junction company event at Leadbetter beach in Santa Barbara and the plumes of smoke were HUGE! It looked like the fire was going to come over the top of the Camino Cielo ridge.

We went to the beach after work last night. Rincon, indicator, backside… only 3-4 surfers out and it was really fun! Tegan took Sasha for a long walk too. Next time we’re going to pack some wine and snacks and sit and watch the sunset.
